Composed in 1995 under a different title ("Memo"), in memory of the Funk years and all the friends lost along the way. The final touch to the lyrics was made in 2002. | |

| Funkysize is the website which gave me the urge to dig in my crates and unearth those goodies. Big thanks to Nioc & Christian for their kindness, their involvement for the advancement of Funk (we all have the same goal, that's a fact!) Without them : there would be no album! | ||

That's why I dedicate them this track, but also more widely to all the other Funk websites in France! Funk community or not, that's not the point, the only goal here is getting your kicks out of the music! "Funkysize Now Babe" is also featured in THE GOLDEN AGES. |

| Put together in 1987 for my new group PREMICES, that track was supposed to end up on a French funk album. After trying out literally dozens of 'potential' tracks, the whole project was finally given the red light by the record label on the count of being TOO FUNKY!!!! In 1987, my vision was a heretic ones considering the times. ! Nevertheless, "Si Fort" was a strong point at all the gigs. It used to be a closing number and where " Motormouth " (the H.Hancock classic from the 'Lite Me Up' LP) left people in their seats, "Si Fort" had them standing up in no time because they could relate to the lyrics and the groove. Most of the time this was an ad-lib groove that could last up to 15 to 20 minutes! | ||
